    Simply Sync Password

    wildcard SSL certificate

    Hello,

I would like to use the existing wildcard ssl-certificate we have. I tried to assign it with the netsh command. It says it's successful but when I try to start the PWSync Facade service it can not find the certificate. It is looking for the assigned hostname. While the certificate name is with a wildcard...

    Please advise.

    event error:
Service cannot be started. System.InvalidOperationException: Cannot find the X.509 certificate using the following search criteria: StoreName 'My', StoreLocation 'LocalMachine', FindType 'FindBySubjectName', FindValue 'xxxx.domain.com'.

    Re: wildcard SSL certificate

    Hi Patrick,
unfortunately, current version doesn't support wildcard ssl certificates.

however if this is test purpose, you can use private certificate.

    Thanks
