    Simply Sync Password

    Error when connecting PW Sync Client to PW Sync Server

    Hello,

    I'm trying to evaluate your product, but i'm running into an issue.

    When trying to connect with the PW Sync client from an AD server to the server that has the PW Sync server installed, i get the following error:

    An unsecured or incorrectly secured fault was received from the other party. See the inner FaultException for the fault code and detail.

    The time and date on both ends are in sync (within 2 seconds of eachother).

    Please check the following.
    1. Server ID / PW: both are case-sensitive.
    2. Client and Server time sync to world. Time different should be under 5 minutes.
    3. “Change Passowrd at next logon” is not checked on Server ID

    Could you check if proxy server is being used on client to connect to pwsync server?

    Issue turned out to be a typo in the username.
