    Simply Sync Password

    Evaluating Syncing of Groups with Trail Key

    I have installed Simply Sync AD Plug-In to evaluate User and Group syncing.
    User syncing works fine.
    Running the command "Create to target" in the Group Sync Management console occurs following message:"
    "Trail key is working for user starting 'test' "
    My Testgroup cn is starting with 'test'.
    Does this mean "Trail is only working for user sync" ?

    Hello,
    In the trial mode, you can test as many groups as you want.
    The only caveat is that the test groups must have a prefix “test-“ in sAMAccountName.

    A subscriber license key will remove this restriction.

    The error message pointed in the wrong direction.

    After changing the "Group Sync Key Attribute" from default "mail" to "sAMAccountName" in AD Plug-In Configuration and serverside AD Agent Configuration > Account Management > GroupSync Tab > Target Key Attribute Field the group sync worked fine.
